FAQ

What counts as a sample cost?

Include the product's landed cost and outbound shipping for each creator. Add other per-sample costs to this number if they apply.

What does profit per order mean here?

It is contribution after variable costs but before creator commission. The calculator applies the entered commission percentage to that contribution as a simplified planning assumption. If you know actual commission dollars per order, subtract them from your contribution first and enter 0% commission.

Why is break-even rounded up?

You cannot receive a fraction of an order. The result is the smallest whole number of orders whose net contribution covers the sample budget.

How is posting rate used?

Expected posting creators equal samples sent multiplied by the posting percentage. Orders needed per posting creator divide the break-even orders by that expected count, then round up.

Does this predict sales?

No. It shows the order target required to cover sample costs under your assumptions; it does not predict whether creators will post or buyers will order.
